One Visit for Both Tests
Whether your Levittown address is in Bristol Township, Falls Township, Middletown Township or Tullytown, you're in Bucks County and in Pennsylvania's Philadelphia-region emissions program. For 1996 and newer gas cars, the emissions test is a scan of the onboard computer plus a gas cap test, done once a year with the safety inspection.
What Can Cause a Failure
A lit check engine light (an automatic emissions fail), a gas cap that doesn't seal, tires or brake pads under 2/32 of an inch, burned-out bulbs and worn wiper blades can all cause a failure. If anything fails, we show you exactly what and why, quote the fix and only do it with your OK. A failed emissions test gets one free retest at the same station within 30 days.
