Safety and Emissions, Once a Year
Bucks County is part of Pennsylvania's emissions program for the Philadelphia region, so most cars here need an emissions test along with the yearly safety inspection, and emissions has to pass or be exempted before the safety sticker can go on. For 1996 and newer cars, the emissions test is a check of the car's onboard computer plus a gas cap test. We do both in one visit.
What the Safety Inspection Checks
The inspector checks brakes, tires and wheels, steering and suspension, lights and electrical, glass, mirrors, wipers and washers, the defroster, horn, exhaust, fuel system, speedometer, odometer, body and chassis. If something fails, we show you exactly what and why, quote the repair and only fix it with your OK.
